This picture was taken on Mother's Day, and I love it. You can't see it, but her shirt says 'My Mom Rocks'! She and her daddy bought it that morning while I was at work. Pretty cool, eh? Lily looks like such a big girl, doesn't she? Sometimes I look at her and see my little baby and other times I see this beautiful girl she is becoming. I love it and can't stand it all at once! It is so great to have conversations with her and it is so helpful that she can actually tell me what she wants and needs now, instead of crying and whining until I figure it out. She is hilarious and smart and FUN. When music is playing she will often grab my hand and say "come dance wif me!" And we will dance around like a couple of dorks. The other day she was dancing and spinning like a maniac in the living room and she flew face first into our green bamboo plant. I was laughing so hard I about hurt myself! (she was fine!) Before she goes to bed she will say "goodnight momma, daddy, sweet bweems." I love that -- perfect way to end a day. I enjoy how silly she is. She will run behind me and grab my bottom yelling "I got your wittle bootie, momma!" (Lily and momma have little booties. daddy has a big bootie. hee hee) She has also learned how to "work it" to get her way. She handed me her sippy cup the other day and sweetly said "You put too much water in dere momma?" No Lily, the juice to water ratio is just right, thank you. And her favorite is "I watch bee-oh(video) ONE MORE TIME and then take a nap, otay? I YUV bee-ohs." then, (this is the clincher) she will give me a big hug and say "I yuv oo sooo much, momma" and give me a big kiss. She figures there is no way I could argue with THAT. And, she is usually right! I sometimes miss my little baby, but am sooo in love with this funny, chatty toddler of mine. Although yesterday when I was trying on dresses for a wedding we're going to tomorrow I could've done without her commentary -- "momma, you wearin' da purple panties? Oooh, dare so pwetty momma. You got TWO boobies, momma. I see your boobies..." I could hear the muffled laughter from the surrounding rooms! Oh boy!
Happy Friday all!

What an adorable picture!
That is SO good of the two of you - I hear you on the comments - usually it's Chloe in the bathroom with me saying, "You go potty, Mom? Do you have to go uckies?!?!"
i think we are all in the same boat.. in public restrooms emily loves to shout,"you gotta go pee pee or poo poo, mama." she has to be the loudest Chinese little girl ever... her favorite thing is to pull up my shirt in the back and show everyone where she is on my tattoo... we are working on breaking that one....
Jaiden's word of the week is "Bubbles" and I think of your site every time she says it. So I just had to share that with you :)
The photo of the both of you is so wonderful! And she does look like a big girl. Where does the time go? Happy Friday to you both.
Hi there,
Thanks for visiting - Your little girl is absolutely beautiful!!!!

Oh it all sound so much like what goes on around here. One day I looked at S.G. and realized she wasn't a baby anymore. I get the play-by-play comments as well....panties, boobies, and a lot of "hiney" spanks lately. They are sooo funny!!
There is nothing finer than being a mother.
Ha! I love it! You are so Blessed to have a daughter!!!

" Sometimes I look at her and see my little baby and other times I see this beautiful girl she is becoming. I love it and can't stand it all at once!"
I can so relate to this. I love and adore how he's geting so chatty and interesting and funny, but I feel I have to remember and absorb every moment cuz he's growing so fast!
You both are stunning in the photos and look very happy and very much a family.
The boobies comment is hilarious!
Oh I can't wait for "dance parties" with my Macey! Your little girl is such a character Nikki! Wish I could have some "baby fix" (or little girl fix) time with her!
The picture is so great Nikki!
P.S. Come ovet to my blog, you have been tagged!
lily is too funny, glad to hear you were at least wearing panties, hehe!!
Can I have a hard copy of that photo of you and Lil? I want to frame it!! I, too, have mixed feelings about her growing up so fast but I love that she knows us so well now and I get weepy every time she says "I love you so much Breema". She's truly a gift from God to us all.
Adoraable picture! I agree with you, I love all the new things that our children learn to do, but hate that it all goes so fast. Wouldn't it be nice to freeze time....
That is a beautiful picture.Glad i stopped by
Nice boobies. ~00~
Seriously, that is a great pic of you two! ; )
What a beautiful photo!! Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day.
She does look like a big girl! I'm sure it's very bittersweet as she grows and changes, but she is just lovelier by the minute.
OMG, I never thought about the dressing room! That cracks me up -- let's see if I can maintain my sense of humor when it happens to me!
Oh the comments. Greg has taught Hannah so many different phases. Where is the little lady I'm trying to raise.
Great picture of you two. I am glad we have blinds at our house b/c we do some really crazy dance moves ourselves. Aren't they just so much fun .... being someone's Mama is the BEST!
