More fun with crayons!
Lily still isn't real big on coloring...every once in awhile she will sit and do it for a few. She still enjoys peeling them every so often, and as you can see, she likes to line 'em up nice and pretty.
Her latest craze is painting. I bought her a bunch of paint with water books and a paintbrush and she just goes to town! She LOVES it, and so do I cuz there is NO mess!
*Regarding my last post: the plan failed miserably and we are still scratching our heads over here trying to figure out how to get her to sleep before midnight. But, as my mom wisely said, "It could be so much worse" and in the big scheme of things I totally agree.*

Sorry to hear the plan didn't work out.
Such a cute picture!
Hey, I think that would make a great blog header. I bet I can find some color crayon pictures to put around that Lily. I'm so obsessed!!!Sorry about the plan.
How about a little Benedryl to get it started? That's what the Doc told me to do when we first came home with Sophia. She said "don't drug her...but give her a little something to help her relax, sleep and adjust." Obviously Miss Lily is adjusted....just not her time clock! ;(
That picture made me smile from ear to ear. She is too sweet!
I'm still curious about the details of the plan ... maybe we should start a list of items to discuss when we finally see each other in person!
Cute picture. I think Hannah and Lily are similar when it comes to coloring!
Colourful and cute!
Hope you find a solution that works.
Keep smilin!
Greg was commenting on how cute her smile is. She looks mischivious in this picture.
I'm sorry the plan did not work.
She is such a doll - I LOVE her eyes!!! We need to get Chloe and Lily together - THEN she'd love coloring!!! And Chloe needs help with painting!!!
It's a crayon garden!! (with such a darn cute gardener!)
Sorry the plan didn't work. I hope Plan B presents itself soon!
Cute picture!! She lines them up very well.
Sorry the night thing didn't work. I don't know how benedryl does for Lily, but it makes Spicy Girl crazy. Anything that's supposed to cause drowsiness does the opposite to her.
Definitely an artist in your mist...
I don't really have any good advice regarding the bedtime. I guess I would try to put her to bed half an hour earlier at bi-weekly intervals until she is at a time that you are more comfortable with.
Love the cute photo if Lily and her colors. So sorry the plan for sleep did not work. Have you tried (dare I say it...) no nap at all? Just a thought. Don't give her ambien, have you seen the crazy things people do on that pill? Drive, eat and go crazy? (I know you would never give her anything, I am trying to be funny during a hard time for you.)
sorry the plan didn't work. the benedryl is a good thing. i have tried that before, and as it gets warmer and she plays outside then she will be more tuckered out by night time. emily goes to bed much easier during spring and summer, because she never stops playing.
