She had her 6 month check-up at the dentist this morning. She did really well again...said "ahhh" when she was told, and giggled a lot. Kept saying "I really like the dentist"...up until the very end. She was OVER it and said "Momma, I'm ready to go home now!" I was ready too. I DON'T like the dentist.
This is the picture she drew while waiting for me to finish my interview with her preschool. I was quite impressed. She usually won't draw anything free-hand. She is a perfectionist and will usually say that she doesn't know how to do it right....but I think she did a darn good job on her butterflies and flowers. In her words, it's a "masterpiece".
We have been keeping busy. I took Lily rollerskating for the first time this afternoon. I'll post pictures soon. Hope everyone is having a wonderful week.

That is very good. Glenys won't try to draw anything either if she can't do it well. Drives me batty. I just want her to draw no matter how it looks.

oh shes good. What precious pics!
Oh she's so cute!! Love the drawing. I love to see how thier little drawings evolve over time. Your little bubble queen will love preschool. She seems like a social little butterfly!
I daresay some 6 year olds can't draw that well! Tell Lily I said her butterflies are gorgeous and perfect, just like her.
She is such a big girl -- you have all spring and summer to prepare and practice for preschool.
YEAH!!!!
Lily is going to have sooo much fun at school...
LOVE the picture...
Can't wait to see the picture of Lily roller skating..
I need to get out there and rollerblade...
Have a Great Week..
I got your card in the mail...I love Lily's signature!! :) I hope you are doing well and we MUST plan some events for the summer! Hugs my friend!
That's some precious butterflies to keep Mommy!
I know Lily will just blossom in school! She is ready for it.
Wow...she really is artistic! What will you do with all of your free time next Fall???

Your sweet girl is quite the artist. Emily was always balking at drawing free hand, now she sits for hours and draws.
We just had dentist appointments last week - I am not a fan either.
Preschool (sniff, sniff, sob) - she will do awesome, youuuu, not so much at first:) Just kidding, it will be wonderful. Can't wait to see roller skating, bet it was a blast.

What a pretty picture of butterflies and flowers!!
Pre-school is such an exciting time for our little ones, but can be a little hard on us Mommies(the growing up part).
I am so excited for her teacher...as intelligent as Miss Lily is....her teacher is going to learn some new things I am sure!!! :)
She will love preschool! I'll never forget the day that Chelsi came to me and said..."Mommy I want to play...with kids my size!" That is when I knew...she was ready to go to preschool...you talk about a hard thing for me to do....but I took her and cried all the way home!
But she loved it and I got used to it! :)
She's such a precious little angel...the other children will be so lucky and blessed by her sweet sweet spirit!
Hugs to you !!!

Can't wait to the rollerskating pics. I was quite the skater back in the day. Love the drawing!
She is an artist!!! Love the butterflies. Mallory loves the dentist too. I am terrified of the dentist.
This is Mallory's first year of preschool. It was harder on me than it was on her. She enjoys it but I miss our time in the mornings. I am sure Lily will do fine and you will love hearing about all of the fun things they do.
I love her picture, it smiles sweetly of Spring.
I adore all the art they bring home from pre-school, you'll love it Mom. ;)
That is an excellent drawing.
Yea, I'm sure she will love preschool, she is such a happy little girl, I'm sure she will make lots of friends!
Peek-a-boo Lily! I love your butterflies and flowers. You're quite the "Monet"....
Love ya
Wow..great drawing Lily! I know what you mean about preschool. Hannah will start this Fall as well. I have no doubts it will be MUCH harder on me than her. I'll probably cry all morning after dropping her off. They will learn so much though and make sweet little friends. :)
She has beautiful artwork. Very organised. As for the dentist, I'm with you on this one ;O)
Pretty exciting!!!! She will do so well and have so much fun! My nephew had a rough start (he started when he was much younger) but he loves it now!
Her picture is beautiful..... I think she has talent!!!!! I want to say I am happy about her pre-school but I just can't.... my heart breaks for you... I know how hard it is to let your babies go.
