Been thinking a lot lately about how quickly the time goes by. (perhaps it doesn't feel like it when you are WAITING for something, or someone), but when I look back at pictures of Lily taken when we were in China I am blown away!!That adorable non-walking, non-talking, could barely sit up without falling down, baby we hardly knew is now a running, jumping, dancing, climbing, talking(non-stop), singing toddler whom we are getting to know better each day.
We loved her completely before we ever saw her face. We called her our daughter before we ever held her close. And our love for this sweet girl grows deeper every day as she continues to amaze and surprise us. Time does fly, so we try to enjoy all the moments --good, bad, and ugly because before you know it this will all be just a memory too.

Everyone has such good words today!! THe heart has an amazing capacity for love. Made in the image of God, who loves us all before we even exist.
Lily sure has grown to be a beautiful young lady. Yes, time flies by so fast. Enjoy every moment!
What a beautiful little speech! So true! Lily has changed too! Like I said to everyone else! lol! But she looks a lot different with all of her hair now.
She was just as sweet and pretty back then. Time does fly...sometimes I want to stop it, but I guess I have to learn to accept the here and now!

She is such a beautiful girl. It is amazing how much she has changed.
I remember how excited I was when you e-mailed us pictures while you were in China. How blessed I feel to have her as my niece, she is so beautiful. I love her dearly!!!!
Wow, look how much she has grown. What an adorable baby and she is such a cute toddler. Where does the time go?
Lily was and is just beautiful. I am so happy for all of you to be able to be together. We have such a long way to go but seeing photos of other peoples daughters and hearing about them really helps keep me going.
