Tale of a princess

Monday morning the princess awoke very distraught. Oh mother dear, I have all of these pretend friends to play with, but I long to share the company of some living, breathing human beings. What ever shall we do?? I mean, isn't their ANYONE who would like to play with me?

Look at me, momma, I'm cute! I'm sweet and friendly too!

And I have the best puppy in the whole world that I will bring along to play. Can you please find me some real friends to play with today???

Well, I thought and I thought. I really wanted to please my princess. There just had to be something I could do. And then I remembered some friends in a neighboring kingdom. We hadn't been to their castle in over a year! I called the Queen of their residence and asked if we could come over and play. To my great delight she said yes, and off we went!

Lily was so happy to spend some time with other princesses (and one prince)...unfortunately there were no dress up clothes for Prince Payton, but he was able to join the girls for a nice tea party.

And they all lived happily ever after.

Oh, and I am happy to have a blogging friend that is up late like me. : )

I get home from work close to midnight and then I am always wide awake for an hour or two. Anyway...glad to have some company!!

Poor Prince Payton! Although I guess it's better for him in the future if someone pulls out the tea party picture he can deny participation (note lack of costume) and say he was just there for the snack!
