SO Blessed!

So, the dance recital on Sunday could NOT have gone any better. Lily was amazing. She did all of her moves, and had a huge smile on her face the entire time she danced. I sobbed thru the whole thing! I will be paying the ridiculous 45 dollars for the DVD, because it will be worth every penny. I am extremely proud of my sweet girl! Can't wait to sign her up for class in the fall...my little ballerina!

OK, so after the recital we were off to Tennessee for our family vacation and, can I just say, it was WONDERFUL!!!!!! We had the best time. I am just feeling so blessed to have such an incredible family. All of the kids got along so well, and us adults had our fair share of fun as well. I can't remember the last time I laughed as hard as I laughed our last nite there playing Pictionary. Good times! We all wished we could have stayed a few more days...the goodbye's are never easy.

Our cabin was great...lots of space for the 15 of us...
We hot tubbed, swam in the pool, played games,
went tubing down the river, went go-carting, ate WAY too much, and just had a blast the whole week. Lily was great! Super sassy, for sure, but great. Gee Gee brought a jar of beads and string, so Lily spent a lot of time making custom jewelry for the family...man, that girl enjoys a good project!

Gee Gee, Jim, Michelle, Reilly, and Harrison: we miss you already! Can't wait till we can all be together again.
Oh yeah, and on the way home I got a phone call from my social worker giving us the green light on our Korean adoption...looks like Lily is going to get her wish and be a big sister afterall! In a couple years our family vacation will be even bigger - YAY!

Wonderful news for Korea! So excited for you guys.
Your family vacations sound like a lot of fun and good time. The pics are great and Lily's face on them is priceless.
I can't believe they ask you for so much for the dvd, but that's the price for being a proud Mamma!
Hope you'll have a nice end of weekend and a beautiful week!

Ohhhhhhhhhh I know you are so proud. I love the pic of her at her recital.... I love that you sobbed through the whole thing... For years I would sob whenever Nicholas did anything like that... I think everyone thought I was crazy... they did not understand the heartache, the waiting, the journey I went through to bring home my son and what he had endured to get to that moment in time where he was doing something so icredible. I am glad that we are sobbing moms!
Your reunion looks like so much fun..... just too special for words! Oh, how I miss my family. I am so happy for you! Looks like Lily was the bell of the ball!
And.... WOOHOOOOOO! I will be praying for you to bring home Lily's mei mei quickly!
God's Speed my friend,
Love,

I just love the pictures of Lily's recital. How could you not cry? She is so adorable and what a special memory to have forever. Well worth the $45. I am so glad you guys had a great vacation. Sofia has the same green bathing suit Lily does. Is it from Tarjay? Gotta love Tarjay! :)

What fantastic news about Korea!!! I am so happy for you guys. Sofia's cousin is adopted from Korea and Sofia just loves him so much. He is 6 years old and his name is Nicky. So very happy for you guys. Do you have any idea how long the wait is right now? Hope it goes quickly for you. :)

You know what they say...bad dress rehearsal means a great show. Yay Lily!!!!! I so hear you on the $45 DVD. It kills me every year to write that check, but it is so worth it. They got us and they KNOW it!
