Life with Lily Lin is berry good!

Lily has always enjoyed berries. All of the flavors!(blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries being her absolute favs). Which is a good thing, since I can't get her to eat that much. At least if she is eating her berries, I feel she is getting some good stuff in her. But, lately I can't keep enough berries in the house! She devours bowl after bowl of them...and then asks for more.
I think it has a lot to do with one of her favorite books, "Jamberry".

Quickberry!
Quackberry!
Pick me a blackberry!
Trainberry
Trackberry
Clickety-clackberry

This cute little book has been in her top 10 line up for a couple of months now, and it has definitely contributed to her desire for all things berry-licious! "MMMMMM...Deewishus!"

How funny is that - we just read that today again - I read it with Micah, our oldest, almost 12 years ago and STILL have it memorized!! How sad is that?!!?? We love it too!!

blueberries, blackberries, rasberries, strawberries...berries, berries, berries...everywhere berries, okay none can be found, maybe Lily got em all....it's okay though she's cute and can have em...so long as I can have cherries, and pineapple!!!

Hey there, just wanted to pop by and say thanks for following along during my recent trip and bringing Kaylee home. She is so much fun! And you are right, she seems to be adjusting so quickly, I can't believe it myself. I keep waiting for the ball to drop - but so far, it's all good!!

PS. Your Lily is adorable! I was checking out your pics tonight too :)

Jamberry is one of my favorite books to read to my younger students. Another good "berry" book is Blueberries for Sal. It's a cute story about a boy who goes berry picking with his mom. Like my son, the boy does more eating that picking! But the book doesn't rhyme as well as Jamberry. :)

Can't go wrong with berries ~ YUM!!

I will have to look for that book and add it to our collection. Sounds like a great book.

LOVE the pictures of Lily!

My Lily is a strawberry girl. Whenever you ask her what she wants she says strawberries.

Lily is always smiling the biggest and most radiant smile in all her photos. Beautiful.

Very cute! Lily has a great collection of books. I must admit, though, the staining power of berries terrifies me!

Love that pic of her popping the berry almost as big as she is in her mouth.

Slightly off-topic -- Not that you said that you were worried, but if you even remotely are, do not worry about her eating. When my brother was 2-3, he ate virtually nothing but peanut butter sandwiches for an entire year and he has lived to tell the tale (and he has been eating other things for the last 30+ years).

Love this book! So good that she's downing super high antioxidant berries instead of chocolate, huh?! : )

Cute, cute, cute!! I don't know if I've read Jamberry to my Spicy Girl. I had the book in my classroom for years. Going to have to pull that one out.
