Loungin' with Lily

Oh yeah, my girl gets nice and comfy in her jammies and cupcake sleeper. She enjoys a little snack, then relaxes on her very own lounge chair and enjoys a good video. You'd think that she would be just about ready to hit the hay; call it a day; catch some zzz's; float off to la-la land, right?
Naw, she's just takin' a break. She'll be all fired up and ready to go momentarily. We can't seem to get her to fall asleep before midnight. Guess I should've named her Cinderella, cuz that is pumpkin time for her! Not a minute sooner.
We originally thought it was just a phase. Now I'm beginning to wonder. This has been a VERY long phase!
I joke about it here, but I am growing weary. Very weary.

We have a NEW plan, to try and get her on an earlier sleep schedule...wish us luck. We have tried nearly EVERYTHING!!!!

Wow, that is late! Hope she gets on a better schedule soon (and as a future single mom, I so hope I don't have a similar problem, someone will have to put toothpicks in my eyes!)

Cute pictures (she is such a beauty!), but I can relate. Our Lily is up until late hours as well. She is a night owl and there has been little we have been able to do to change it. Let me know if your new idea works. Maybe there is hope after all!

Ooh she is SUCH a cutie! And as a woman with a freezer in the basment full of various kinds of berries...I can certainly appreciate a girl with a penchant for berries!! I loved the video too of the two of you singing to the sound of music! Too sweet!!

It's gonna be a tough one...especially as it stay's lighter outside. You have to try and re-schedule that little time clock of hers! Good luck girlfriend.....feel free to email if you need to chat about it!
Luv ya...

I'll come lounge with Lily, she's a doll!

Sleep has never been an issue in this home. Their butts are in bed at 8, no later. No if's, and's or but's about it.

Goodluck with that, midnight is way to late, esp. for school kids. Hopefully you can retrain her with no problem at all! =0)

Nikki
only move her sleeptime up in 20 minute increments and let it go for a few days and then shift it again. That is what my pediatrician said to do with Lily when changing her schedule cos she wouldn't notice it. It worked and now she is in bed a 7pm!
Do it with naps and bedtime.
Good luck.....me thinks you might need it.

Oh my. We are all night owls here, but it's nice getting S.G. down by 9:00pm so we can stay up late and have "us" time.

Good luck!!
