This and that and a goofy hat!

Now that Lily's potty trained, we're trying to figure out a use for those princess pull-ups! What do you think???

Seriously, she's just a goof. Don't have ANY idea where she gets it!

She has become a non-stop chatterbox lately. She has an opinion about everything. And it isn't always nice. She is quite the sassy one. And if I choose to ignore her sassiness the first time around, she just repeats herself until she is acknowledged. In the car sometimes I just turn the music up louder so I can have just a moment's peace. (FYI: that doesn't work. She just talks louder...MAAAAMMAAA!) Don't get me wrong: I love that my girl has a lot to say. Most of the time she is charming, witty and smart! She is my absolute favorite source of entertainment...however, it does get to be a bit MUCH at times. And now that Christmas is in the air, shopping has become a total trip. Items in stores are all potential Christmas presents in her eyes..."I want dat...I need dat...can you buy me dat? Can dis be my Cwismiss pwesent?" OVER AND OVER AND OVER. (Saddest part is I have a really hard time saying no.) I took my mom with us to Target tonight and she finished her shopping (for Lil) in a matter of 20 minutes - and she KNOWS that her gifts will be a big hit cuz Lily already put her 2 cents in. My mom's just hoping Lily forgets by Christmas what she bought her - fat chance, mom, the girl's got a killer memory. We put up our tree last night and a few decorations around the house. Then, I checked my blog and saw that my Blog Fairy had been here! (thanks again, Verna. I love it!) It certainly is beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

You are welcome, dear friend! Your Lily sounds so much like Mya. She can talk constantly when she wants. Currently, she is playing independently--dentist to her doll. Mya also wants EVERYTHING for Christmas. They can be so funny and exasperating all in one day!

Love your new look for xmas! Great job.
Can you ask Lily if I can have one of those cute pull up hats - very cute. I'm starting to find xmas lists all over the house.

The picture is hilarious and what you wrote is so funny. I know my daughter was (and still is) quite the "chatty kathy" too.

I agree with you: our girls are so lovable and so annoying at the same time!
Yesterday Maƫlle did a tantrum while we were shopping, she as never done that as a baby, but all the way back home she cried and yelled in the car. Crazy!
And now she starts to answer in a mean way when you tell her to do something or make a comment on her behaviour. Not 4 yet! And her birthday is December 21st so it's all about her party and Xmas, and of course the presents, every single day...

Oh boy, the Christmas wish list in full force! She is SO dang cute though, I can see how it would be hard to say no!

I have a friend who has 4 kids and they each get 3 presents (one big one) just like Jesus did :O) I always thought that was a great way to tone down the gift giving and put the focus on Christ.

OMW....it's the same story over here. S.G. has a list of things she wants for Christmas. No matter how many times I remind her she will not be getting everything she's asking for, she just keeps adding to the list. And sassy...well, I guess that's the spicy in the spicy girls!!

Oh my word! I love the blog, it is just perfect. And the pull-ups hat, a new fashion hit I think. Hmm.. Eli has 'Cars' pull-ups.
I'm glad that you all are doing well and Lily is full of great conversation. Enjoy the holiday season!

Creativity is a wonderful asset for a girl!!! Oh boy, Christmas! I remember sitting with the Sears catalog starting in October making a list that always had at least 50 things on it, I kid you not!

Thank you so much for all the wonderful comments on my blog! I am trying to catch up here and there on all my blog buddies -- I know you understand if I am not around as much right now!

Sounds like Hannah also. When we got back from China she was talking even more than before we left. She also has an opinion on everything and has to know what we are doing everytime we move. We were at Target yesterday and she kept telling me that she wanted to look at toys to see what she might want for Christmas. Got to love them though.

Miss Lily, I love your new hat and think that you and mummy should both wear them!

You are going to have so much fun this year. Christmas is just a big lump of excitment in our house.
